    El estudio presenta la figura de san Pedro Arbués, alejada de la perspectiva de la leyenda negra, como canónigo de Zaragoza e inquisidor de Aragón, y como un mártir religioso, pero también mártir político, al ser un instrumento de la monarquía autoritaria de los Reyes Católicos para imponer la Inquisición en Aragón. Vivió con humildad y sencillez, y la mayor parte de su vida la dedicó a su actividad cono canónigo regular.

    The study presents the figure of Saint Pedro Arbués, far from the perspective of the black legend, as canon of Zaragoza and inquisitor of Aragón, and as a religious martyr, but also a political martyr, being an instrument of the authoritarian monarchy of the Kings Catholics to impose the Inquisition in Aragón. He lived with humility and simplicity, and most of his life was delicated to his activity as a regular canon.
