    La actual devastación del planeta precisa, hoy más que ayer, tanto de la creación de estrategias, proyectos, acuerdos; cuanto de individuos, instituciones y gobiernos que, de consuno con la innovación tecnológica y científica, sean capaces de frenar la inminente debacle. No obstante, es necesario tener en cuenta, por un lado, los intereses políticos y económicos que se agitan tras cualesquiera demandas sociales; por el otro, que aún en el intercambio aparentemente pacífico de opiniones, o su materialización en instrumentos contractuales, subyace el peligro de caer en infamias supuestamente ya superadas, sobre todo cuando están de por medio recursos naturales agotables. Por esta razón, el objetivo del presente artículo es poner de manifiesto, a partir de un proceso hermenéutico, las estrategias utilizadas por las élites políticas y económicas con miras a la apropiación de los recursos, y así develar, la plétora de significados ocultos tras el antiquísimo debate sobre la biósfera. Con lo anterior se espera ver justificada la necesidad de una postura y una epistemología crítico-dialéctica, puesto que, de otra manera, nuestras exigencias, incluidas las de un saber científico y tecnológico, pueden degenerar imposiciones sobre nuestra existencia.

    The current devastation of the planet requires, today more than yesterday, both the creation of strategies, projects, agreements; as well as individuals, institutions and governments that, together with technological and scientific innovation, can stop the imminent debacle. However, it is necessary to consider, on the one hand, the political and economic interests that are agitated behind any social demands; on the other, that even in the apparently peaceful exchange of opinions, or their materialization in contractual instruments, there is an underlying danger of falling into infamies supposedly already overcome, especially when exhaustible natural resources are involved. For this reason, the objective of this article is to highlight, from a hermeneutical process, the strategies used by the political and economic elites with a view to the appropriation of resources, and thus unveil the plethora of hidden meanings behind the ancient debate on the biosphere. With the above, it is hoped that the need for a critical-dialectical stance and epistemology will be justified, since, otherwise, our demands, including those of scientific and technological knowledge, can degenerate impositions on our existence.
