    El objetivo que tiene este artículo es analizar la percepción que se tiene de la imagen y responsabilidad que debe tener el contador público frente a la sociedad. la metodología es explicativa, debido a que es un tipo de investigación cuya finalidad es hallar las razones o motivos por los cuales ocurren los hechos del fenómeno estudiado, observando las causas y los efectos que existen, e identificando las circunstancias. Como resultado encontramos que a los profesores el cual les preocupa su imagen y en mantenerla ya que esta da mucho de qué hablar a la sociedad como profesionales, como bien dicho anteriormente en esta investigación la profesión de contaduría pública ha sido señalada por muchos fraudes que se ha presentado en la sociedad dado esto los entrevistados de la universidad Simón Bolívar les hablan a sus estudiantes de la imagen y ética del contador público, enseñándoles así también como respetar y sentir la profesión, manteniendo así una imagen y responsabilidad ante de la sociedad.

    The objective of this article is to analyze the perception that one has of the image and responsibility that the public accountant should have in front of society. The methodology is explanatory, because it is a type of research whose purpose is to find the reasons or motives for which the events of the phenomenon under study occur, observing the causes and effects that exist, and identifying the circumstances. As a result, we found that professors who are concerned about their image and maintaining it since it gives society a lot to talk about as professionals, as well said earlier in this research, the public accounting profession has been pointed out by many frauds that are has presented in society, given this, the interviewees of the Simón Bolívar university speak to their students about the image and ethics of the public accountant, teaching them how to respect and feel the profession, thus maintaining an image and responsibility before society.
