Criar en la juventud: una carrera con sentidos diversos

    La crianza en condición juvenil implica ajustes y transiciones en el curso de vida, puede ocurrir cambios en la concepción de sí mismo y construcción de sentidos diversos según sus vivencias, contextos y capitales propios. El objetivo de la investigación se centró en interpretar los sentidos construidos en torno a la crianza de hijos e hijas en padres y madres jóvenes del municipio de Cúcuta. Este trabajo tiene enfoque cualitativo interpretativo fenomenológico, que busca indagar con el “Otro” aquellas configuraciones visibles a partir de sus narrativas. Se utilizan entrevistas a profundidad. Se integraron ocho participantes que incluyen padres y madres jóvenes, quienes tenían hijos e hijas con edades entre tres y seis años. Los resultados arrojaron tres grandes categorías que abordan los sentidos que emergen en este trasegar: una carrera en la que se imbrica el cuidado del otro y el olvido de sí; un transitar con los hijos e hijas en una relación de pares y, por último, una que da cuenta de una suerte de artesanos que desde sus saberes propios van dando forma a diversas crianzas. Se concluye que los jóvenes en el ejercicio de la crianza, van construyendo junto al hijo e hija, una relación configurativa, en medio de la cual disfrutan este rol en la juventud, son creadores de formas de crianza particulares, y en medio de la ambigüedad social que en ocasiones los estigmatiza y en otras les reconoce, desenvuelven agencias que potencian proyectos previos y aprendizajes para el cuidado de sus hijos e hijas.

    Upbringing in a youthful condition implies adjustments and transitions in the course of life, changes can occur in the conception of oneself and the construction of different meanings according to their experiences, contexts and own capitals. The objective of the research focused on interpreting the meanings built around the upbringing of sons and daughters in young fathers and mothers of the municipality of Cúcuta. This work has a qualitative interpretative phenomenological approach, which seeks to investigate with the “Other” those configurations visible from their narratives. In-depth interviews are used. Eight participants were integrated, including young fathers and mothers, who had sons and daughters aged between three and six years. The results yielded three large categories that address the meanings that emerge in this racking: a career in which the care of the other and self-forgetfulness are intertwined; a transit with the sons and daughters in a relationship of peers and, finally, one that accounts for a kind of artisans who, from their own knowledge, are shaping various upbringings. It is concluded that young people in the exercise of upbringing, go building together with the son and daughter, a cofigurative relationship, in the midst of which they enjoy this role in youth, they are creators of particular forms of upbringing, and in the midst of the social ambiguity that sometimes stigmatizes them and in others recognizes them, they develop agencies that promote previous projects and learning for the care of their sons and daughters.
