Migración y seguridad fronteriza Colombia – Venezuela: una revisión sistemática

    El artículo tiene por objetivo analizar cómo ha sido la tendencia en la investigación sobre migración y seguridad fronteriza, así como identificar acciones frente a las diferentes problemáticas generadas por este fenómeno en la frontera Colombia-Venezuela. La investigación se basó en un estudio bibliométrico y documental a través de la revisión de la base de datos SCOPUS para el tópico ("migration” and “border security"), se hizo uso de herramientas como el método InOrdinatio, R-Studio y Bibliometrix, que permitieron identificar la producción científica, los autores y países, instituciones y artículos más citados; para la visualización de los datos en red se acudió al software VosViewer. La ventana de tiempo 1987-2022, como resultado inicial se obtuvo 221 artículos, adicionalmente se consultó informes regionales y nacionales y noticias de divulgación nacional. A partir de lo anterior se logró identificar una tendencia creciente en las investigaciones a nivel mundial, el año de mayor publicación fue el 2021, el país que registra un mayor número de publicaciones es Estados Unidos y el área donde se reconoce mayor interés es las ciencias sociales, además se evidenció que en la base de datos Scopus no existen publicaciones sobre la frontera Colombo-venezolana. La presente revisión aporta un panorama sobre la producción científica frente al objeto de estudio e identifica las principales acciones adoptadas en Colombia para mejorar la calidad de vida de los migrantes y de la comunidad que los recibe.

    The objective of the article is to analyze how the trend in research on migration and border security has been, as well as to identify actions against the different problems generated by this phenomenon on the Colombia-Venezuela border. The research was based on a bibliometric and documentary study through the review of the Scopus database for the topics ("migration" and "border security"), tools such as the InOrdinatio method, R-Studio and Bibliometrix were used. , which made it possible to identify the most cited scientific production, authors and countries, institutions and articles; VosViewer software was used to visualize the data in red. The time window 1987-2022, as an initial result, 221 articles were obtained, in addition, regional and national reports and national news were consulted. Based on the above, a growing trend in research worldwide will be detected, the year with the highest publication was 2021, the country with the highest number of publications is the United States and the area where the greatest interest is recognized is the social sciences. In addition, it is evident that in the Scopus database there are no publications on the Colombian-Venezuelan border. This review provides an overview of the scientific production regarding the object of study and identifies the main actions adopted in Colombia to improve the quality of life of migrants and the community that receives them.
