The deep bite is a common problem in the treatment of maloclussions. There are actually two ways for treating the deep bite: Tweed type arch leveling and Ricketts "utility" arch, but there are different opinions about their results and it is not know which of them is more useful for correcting the deep bite. On the other hand, the responsos of the treatment are very different according to the facial type, therefore it is necessary to divide the sample into three facials types. With our work, we want to see the effects of the bioprogressive therapy, eliminating the intluence of the natural growth over the results of the treatment, in different skeletal and dental measures when we treat deep bite malocclusions and the sample divided acording to three facials types. The conclusions are the following: there is a great first lower molar extrusion in the three facials types; in the brachyfacial type, the upper incisor contributes more than the lower incisor for healing the deep bite, while in the mesofacial and dolicofacial patients there are opposite effects.
