    Reflexión en torno al tema de las desigualdades sociales de género, lo que ha sido un área de estudio de constante interés de investigadores sociales. Puede considerarse que están condicionadas históricamente, en tanto desde la antigüedad la mujer ha sido tratada como un ser inferior, con base en diversas creencias religiosas y costumbres sociales. Estas diferencias sociales se constituyen en desigualdades que son injustas. En general se atribuye su origen a la estratificación social y por consiguiente producto de la propia organización de la sociedad. El artículo incluye consideraciones sobre la situación de esta problemática en el mundo actual en general y en particular en Angola.

    Reflection about the social inequalities of gender, what has been an area of study of constant interest of social investigators. It can be considered that are conditioned historically, as long as from the antiquity the woman has been treated as an inferior being, with base in religious diverse beliefs and social customs. These social differences are constituted in inequalities that are unjust. In general their origin is attributed to the social stratification and consequently product of the own organization of the society. The article includes considerations about the situation of this problem in the current world and in particular in Angola.
