    Este artículo ofrece un enfoque innovador y no convencional de la relación entre poesía, música y mecánica de fractura sobre la base de investigaciones previas del autor en el campo de la fractura e integridad estructural, en aire y en ambiente agresivo, de acero perlítico laminado en caliente (fisuración asistida por el ambiente, fisuración por corrosión bajo tensión, fisuración asistida por hidrógeno, fractura asistida por hidrógeno y fragilización por hidrógeno siendo casos particulares importantes, así como los análisis de cada situación particular de caminos de fisuración por fatiga y fractura en ambientes inerte y agresivo), en el marco conceptual de los pensamientos y reflexiones del autor acerca de la filosofía del arte y las humanidades y su relación con la ciencia. En el presente artículo se establecen conexiones novedosas entre fatiga, fractura & integridad estructural de barras y alambres de acero perlítico eutectoide laminado en caliente (por un lado) y las artes temporales de poesía y música (por el otro lado).

    This paper offers an innovative and unconventional approach to the relationship between poetry, music and fracture mechanics on the basis of previous research of the author in the field of fracture and structural integrity of hot rolled pearlitic steel in inert and aggressive environments (environmentally assisted cracking, stress corrosion cracking, hydrogen assisted cracking, hydrogen assisted fracture and hydrogen embrittlement being important specific cases, as well as the analyses in each particular situation of fatigue & fracture crack paths in inert and corrosive media), in the conceptual framework of his thoughts and reflections about the philosophy of arts and humanities and its relation with science. In the present paper, novel connections and links are established between fatigue, fracture mechanics & structural integrity of hot rolled pearlitic eutectoid steel bars and wires (on one side) and the temporal arts of poetry and music (on the other side).
