The presentation of a patient as having multiple peritoneal metastases due to an adenocarcinoma of the colon operated on 2 years previously, and an endometrial polyp metastasized from the same tumor.
Following exploratory laparotomy and diagnostic palliative curettage, treatment was started with LHRH and chemotherapy, to stop the anemia inducing metrorrhagia caused by the polyp. Almost 3 years later the patient continues to have a good quality of life. We emphasize the good response to treatment with LHRH analogs, and review existing literature.
