La convivencia entre las dos comunidades vecinas de Usagrey Villagarcía de la Torre en el siglo XV se vio dificultada por la existencia defuertes tensiones provocadas por el uso indebido de determinados espacios deltérmino municipal de Usagre por los vecinos de Villagarcía, amparados por susseñores, quienes a su vez ejercieron una presión feudal sobre dicho términocon la finalidad de hacerse con el uso y disfrute de los mismos. Estas tensiones,acompañadas del uso de la fuerza, crearon una espiral de violencia que solo seresolvió por la convalidación de un antiguo acuerdo de 1385 o la suscripciónde nuevos y sucesivos acuerdos que trajeron temporalmente la paz a la zona.

The coexistence between the neighboring communities of Usagre and Villagarcía de la Torre in the 15th century was complicated by theexistence of strong tensions caused by the improper use of certain areas withinthe municipal territory of Usagre by the residents of Villagarcía. These actionswere supported by their lords, who, in turn, exerted feudal pressure over theterritory with the aim of securing the use and enjoyment of the land. Thesetensions, accompanied by the use of force, created a spiral of violence thatwas only resolved through the validation of an old agreement from 1385 or thesigning of new and successive agreements that temporarily brought peace tothe region.
