Resumen de La AIREF como «institución fiscal independiente»: competencias y función constitucional

Este trabajo analiza el papel actual de la Autoridad Independiente de Responsabilidad Fiscal (AIREF) en el marco del sistema de estabilidad presupuestaria vigente, y su concreta posición en el ciclo presupuestario constitucionalmente establecido. Se examinan además las principales consecuencias que previsiblemente implicará el nuevo marco jurídico para la AIREF, concluyendo con una reflexión acerca del estado de internalización de la cultura de la estabilidad presupuestaria en España.

This paper analyses the current role of the Independent Authority for Fiscal Responsibility (AIREF) within the framework of the current budgetary stability system, and its specific position in the constitutionally established budgetary cycle. It also examines the main consequences that the new legal framework, will foreseeably entail for the AIREF, concluding with a reflection on the state of internalization of the culture of budgetary stability in Spain.
