  Ramon Galiana (1916-2000), soci de la Societat d’Història Natural de les Balears (SHNB), va ser un naturalista entusiasta i va aconseguir una gran col·lecció de fòssils de Mallorca i de tàxons marins actuals i d’arreu del món. Els seus fills feren acte de donació i la seva col·lecció es va traslladar a inicis de 2016 al local de la SHNB

  Ramon Galiana (1916-2000), member of the Society of Natural History of the Balearic Islands (SHNB), was an enthusiastic naturalist and achieved a large collection of fossils from Mallorca and current marine taxa and from around the world. His sons made an act of donation and his collection was moved to the beginning of 2016 at the premises of the SHNB. Tasks have been carried out to adapt the collection and the quaternary of Mallorca's fossils have been cataloged and labeled.
