Resumen de Recuperació de la xarxa de monitoratge de la Posidònia

  La Xarxa de Monitoratge de les Praderies de Posidònia és un projecte promogut per la Direcció General de Pesca i Medi Marí que es va iniciar el 2002 i va estar funcionant durant 10 anys. Durant aquest temps es varen instal·lar 36 estacions de mostreig fixes on es controlaven periòdicament una sèrie de paràmetres propis de les praderies (densitat de feixos, cobertura, etc.) mitjançant la participació d'institucions, clubs de busseig i grups de bussejadors voluntaris. Actualment, aquest projecte s'ha tornat a posar en marxa i té com a objectiu reprendre les relacions amb els grups de voluntaris que varen participar en la Xarxa anteriorment, o fins i tot establir noves relacions amb altres grups, a fi de recuperar les estacions de mostreig estudiades en el passat. Fins ara s’han pogut recuperar 14 estacions de seguiment i s’ha instal·lat una nova estació. Per això, s’ha comptat amb la col·laboració d’11 entitats diferents i un total de 98 bussejadors voluntaris. Finalment, en els propers anys està previst recuperar les 22 estacions que encara estan pendents i, si és possible, ampliar la Xarxa amb algunes noves estacions més.

  The Posidonia Meadows Monitoring Network is a project promoted by the “Direcció General de Pesca i Medi Marí” that began in 2002 and was operating for 10 years. During this time, 36 fixed sampling stations were installed. Several parameters of the meadow (shoot density, coverage, etc.) were regularly monitored in those stations through the participation of institutions, diving clubs and groups of volunteer divers. Currently, this project has been started again and aims to resume relations with the groups of volunteers that participated in the Network previously, or even establish new relationships with other groups. Thus, it is intended to recover the sampling stations studied in the past. Until now, 14 sampling stations have been recovered and a new station has been installed. To archive it, 11 different entities and a total of 98 voluntary divers have collaborated in this project. Finally, in the next years it is planned to recover the 22 stations that are still pending and, if possible, expand the Network with some new stations.
