    RESUMEN: Este artículo se propone una aproximación al análisis de la solidaridad internacional cubana. Se presentan algunos indicadores sobre su connotación actual en el enfrentamiento a la COVID-19, y se toman en cuenta tres referentes que, sin pretender abarcar todos los determinantes, favorecen una mirada más certera sobre la naturaleza del internacionalismo cubano. Se valoran las raíces de la formación identitaria; el carácter ético/político de la estrategia del país; y la relevancia de algunas de las transformaciones de la Revolución cubana. A partir de esto, se bosqueja una posible contribución a la sociedad después de la epidemia.

    ABSTRACT: This article proposes an approach to the analysis of Cuban international solidarity. Some indicators are presented on its current connotation in the confrontation with COVID-19., and three references are taken into account that, without trying to cover all the determinants, favor a more accurate look at the nature of Cuban internationalism. The roots of identity formation are valued; the ethical / political character of the country's strategy; and the relevance of some of the transformations of the Cuban revolution. From this, a possible contribution to society after the epidemic is outlined.
