Importancia de la participación familiar en la educación de los estudiantes del nivel inicial

    RESUMEN El involucramiento de los padres es clave en el proceso educativo de los estudiantes. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar la participación familiar en la educación de los estudiantes de nivel inicial I y II de la Escuela Particular Julia Navarrete Mendoza. Para ello se realizó un estudio descriptivo con enfoque cuantitativo. Se aplicó una encuesta a los padres para determinar sus percepciones sobre la participación familiar y la experiencia en el centro docente. Los resultados arrojaron que los padres se autoperciben con un perfil de participación alto, y aceptan que poseen responsabilidades en cuanto a desenvolvimiento educativo de sus hijos/as. Señalan como obstáculos de participación a la incompatibilidad de horarios y falta de tiempo, pero se muestran abiertos y sugerentes a incorporase a iniciativas para mejorar esta situación. Partiendo de los resultados se proponen acciones para contribuir al progreso de la relación familia - escuela en el centro.

    ABSTRACT Parental involvement is key in the educational process of students. The objective of the research is to analyze family participation in the education of initial level I and II students of the Julia Navarrete Mendoza Private School. For this, a descriptive study with a quantitative approach was carried out. A survey was applied to parents to determine their perceptions about family participation and the experience in the educational center. The results showed that parents self-perceive with a high participation profile, and accept that they have responsibilities regarding the educational development of their children. They point out the incompatibility of schedules and lack of time as obstacles to participation, but they are open and suggestive of joining initiatives to improve this situation. Based on the results, actions are proposed to contribute to the progress of the family-school relationship in the center.
