Azken urteotan, Europan, eskola-segregazioak kezka handia eragin du hezkuntza-komunitatean nahiz herritarrengan, eta, horrek, esparru horretan egindako ikerketen kopurua nabarmen hazi du. Euskal Hezkuntza Sistema ere hainbat ikerketaren ardatz izan da, baina oraindik oinarri teoriko sendoa falta da. Ikerketa honetan, Eibarko hezkuntza-testuingurua aztertzen da, bereziki eskola-segregazioa arintzeko bertan ezarri zen esku-hartzea. Eibarren diseinatutako eta inplementatutako eskolamaparen arrazoiak, helburuak eta ondorioak aztertu dira. Metodologia mistoa erabili da: alde batetik, Eibarko eskoletako datu kuantitatiboak bildu eta aztertu dira; bestetik, datu kualitatiboak eskuratu dira hezkuntza-komunitateko profesionalekin egindako elkarrizketa sakonen bidez. Ondorio nagusia da eskola-mapak ez duela aurreikusitako eraginik izan segregazioan. Gainera, besteak beste, kultura- eta jatorri-aniztasunean eta euskararekiko atxikimenduan eragina izan du.
In recent years, school segregation in Europe has raised major concerns among the educational community and the public, leading to a notable increase in related research. The Basque Educational System has also been the focus of various studies, although a solid theoretical framework is still lacking. This study examines the educational context of Eibar, specifically analyzing the intervention implemented to address school segregation. It explores the rationale, objectives, and outcomes of the newly designed and implemented School Map in Eibar. A mixed-method approach was used: quantitative data from Eibar’s schools were collected and analyzed, while qualitative data were obtained through in-depth interviews with educational professionals. The main conclusion is that the School Map has not achieved the anticipated impact on segregation. Moreover, it has also affected aspects such as cultural and origin diversity and attachment to the Basque language.
