    Tras el estudio de un grupo de ejemplares de la familia Clambidae colectados en las montañas de Prades (Tarragona) durante los años 2002 y 2003, se ha podido constatar la presencia en el área peninsular de Loricaster testaceus testaceus Mulsant & Rey, 1861. Se representa el habitus y edeago, efectuando su comparación con L. testaceus pumilus Reitter, 1884, subespecie presente en la Península Ibérica. Se comenta la problemática y validez del grupo de subespecies de testaceus creado por Reitter (1884)

    After the study of a group of specimens of the family Clambidae collected in the mountains of Prades (Tarragona) during the years 2002 and 2003, it has been possible to verify the presence in the peninsular area of Loricaster testaceus testaceus Mulsant & Rey, 1861. The habitus and aedeagus are represented, and compared with L.

    testaceus pumilus Reitter, 1884, subspecies present in the Iberian Peninsula. The problems and validity of the group of testaceus subspecies created by Reitter (1884) are discussed.
