    En los casi 20 años del siglo XXI, la literatura de Roberto Bolaño se ha situado a escala mundial como una de las más destacadas de Latinoamérica.Diversas traducciones al inglés, al francés y al alemán, son una señal de dicha ubicación en la república literaria. Bolaño es un autor de culto para personalidades como Susan Sontag. Es también una voz central de un mundo global. El autor de 2666 es objeto de investigaciones en las que teorías literarias contemporáneas de género y cultura encuentran riqueza y polémica. La literatura de Bolaño muestra un cambio de página con respecto al boom y al postboom. Es el autor que da insumos literarios sobre la bisagra de los siglos XX y XXI.

    Laminaria digitata considers the writing of the anomal living bodies in the work of Bolaño through the lens of post-humanist thought. Such approach allows us to perceive the questioning of the limits of the “human”, stressing thus their permeability as well as the inherent entanglement of the “form” and “content” in the literary representation. The opening—through the insistence on the hybrid corporeality of some characters—of their contours towards the other, the non-human, suggests their participation in the immanent force that precedes subjectivation, and is common to everything that exists. The trans-corporeality in and of Bolaño’s writing, creates a fold in the matter of the text, which may point to an insistence on other dimensions of relational-ity. The hybrid characters function as the embodiment—introduction of the no-verbal, no-rational, no-representational into the text—of other perspec-tives, perspectives that are intuited viscerally, and may be read as spaces of opening towards a transformational aesthetic of affect.
