  • Resumen
    • The current technological evolution of Android smartphones is marked by cycle innovation in hardware and software that’s reflects a market behaviour where manufacturers prioritize new releases over support. This study clarify which technical specifications are most relevant to consumers when purchasing new smartphones and how influence the final price. Present hypothesis certain specifications significantly impact the price, and alternative proposing that all specifications have a relevant influence final price. The study method involved Canonical Discriminant Analysis (DCA) and machine learning. Descriptive statistics demonstrated that some technical specifications, such as memory and data storage, are more important in defining the final price. DCA revealed a clear separation of groups based on their characteristics, indicating that memory and storage are among the most significant factors for determining the final price. Machine learning algorithms were compared to identify the most efficient in predicting the final price based on the previously determined characteristics.
