    Canto alla doppia natura di comunità intersoggettiva ideale e comunitàintersoggettiva storica o strategica (Karl-Otto Apel), una ulteriore doppiastruttura che è data con la struttura linguistica stessa: la dimensione storica e ladimensione utopica di ogni concetto o del linguaggio in generale. In altri termini,l’etica del discorso non deve fare i conti solo con la dialettica tra mondo reale emondo storico, ma anche con la dialettica tra utopicità (idealità) e contingenza(storicità) del linguaggio.

    The essay discusses discourse ethics within the context of language andproposes, along with the double nature of the ideal intersubjective communityand the historic or strategic intersubjective community (Karl-Otto Apel), a furtherdouble structure that is given with the linguistic structure itself: the historicaldimension and the utopian dimension of every concept and of language ingeneral. In other terms, discourse ethics does not only have to give account ofthe dialectics between the real world and the historical world, but also of thedialectics between utopianism (ideality) and contingency (historicity) oflanguage.
