  • Children with thyroid cancer from disadvantaged backgrounds and from ethnic and racial minority groups unfortunately continue to face disparities in care leading to treatment and survival differences. The problem is complex and multifactorial, which means solutions ought to be multidimensional in nature to address the policies and systems that influence outcome differences. While advances in our understanding of these disparities have increased over the last few decades, more research is needed
