    El mejor conocimiento de estos agentes infecciosos y su relación con diferente patologías tanto de tipo tumoral como de naturaleza infecciosa, hace necesario que el especialista de patología oral sepa distinguirlos de otras enfermedades, no solo para tratarlos de forma adecuada, sino también para poder tomar medidas adecuadas para evitar el contagio durante los tratamientos odontológicos. Aquí veremos solamente los virus relacionados con la estomatología que afectan al hombre y veremos sus características mas significativas desde el punto de vista clínico, reseñando su interés como posibles elementos carcinogénicos y su susceptibilidad para el contagio.

    The best knowledge of these infectious agents and their relationship to different pathologies both of tumoral type and of infectious nature, makes necessary that the oral pathology specialist distinguishes them of other diseases, not only to treat them in the right way, but also to be able to act correctly to avoid the contagian during the odontologic treatments. We'll only see the virus linked to stomatology that affect to the man and we will see its most meaningful characteristic from the clinical point of view, outlining its interest as possible carcinogenic elements and its susceptibility for the contagian.
