    El Carlit és el punt culminant del Pirineu oriental que domina unes àmpliesextensions de relleu suau i herbat que han afavorit la pastura des de tempsimmemorials. Amb la referència de les excavacions efectuades per diversosarqueòlegs s’ha fet una recerca inventariant les barraques de pedra seca dela zona i s’han relacionat amb les jaces o pletes, que són els indrets on estancava el bestiar durant la nit. Així mateix, s’ha esbrinat l’evolució de les construccions en el temps i la relació amb les pletes i el tipus de bestiar que les feia servir.

    The Carlit is the culmination of the eastern Pyrenees that dominates largeverdant areas of soft and grassy relief that have favoured grazing since timeimmemorial. With reference to the excavations carried out by various archaeologists, a search has been undertaken in order to make an inventory of the dry stone shelters in the area, which were related to the “jaces o pletes”, which are the places where the cattle were locked during the night. The evolution of constructions over time and the relationship with the pastures and the type of livestock that used them have also been discovered.
