Key theoretical references and a thematic evolution from traditional to contemporary approaches are identified, highlighting topics such as motivation and youth. Thematic clusters related to volunteering and tourism are also identified, and concepts such as Citizen Science and Self-Determination Theory emerge, highlighting their relevance in current research.
