  • Resumen
    • In Arabic, the shift from Word to Person was made very early in the theological vocabulary. The first controversies in Arabic introduced the main themes at hand: the Trinity and the divinity of Jesus. It is from there that the theological concepts of the Word of God (in Arabic kalima), person in the Holy Trinity, will move from the “Word” to “Person” using different names: uqnūm, waǧh, šaẖs, qiwām, and others.
