Writing is a variable quote field. While many disciplines abandoned their treatment, the land remained empty, vacant and available for the construction of regular and low-rise buildings. Thus, with metaphors of flavor and personality, a tour of the influential factors in the loss of value in research writing is presented here, derived from the confusion of research writing with academic writing that homogenizes and universalizes many of the texts. that circulate in our disciplines. The challenge is, then, to go back over and value that field, to de-uniform those protocols to which the productions adapt and to conceive and quote writing as research, in the same sense in which a story is a journey. To leave the writing of formulas and return to the formulation of writing, one is invited to rethink the way of excursion, of walking through the terrain, of appropriating it.
