Resumen de Ser estudante-estagiário em tempos de pandemia: um estudo exploratório

No presente estudo, de tipo exploratório e descritivo, procurou-se analisar as experiências dosestudantes-estagiários sobre os processos formativos vivenciados no contexto da pandemiaCOVID-19. Pretendeu-se, também, conhecer o impacto do contexto de pandemia nas expetativassobre a inserção no mercado de trabalho e futuro profissional destes jovens. Com recurso a análisetemática indutiva efetuada a partir de 21 entrevistas semiestruturadas foi possível identificar aemergência dos seguintes temas (1) diferenças entre o trabalho antes e durante da pandemiaCOVID-19; (2) desafios associados à nova forma de trabalhar; (3) formas de apoio recebido; (4)receios em relação ao futuro profissional; (4) a pandemia COVID-19 com oportunidade para ainserção de jovens no mercado de trabalho. Os resultados obtidos são discutidos no âmbito daproblemática da inserção de jovens no mercado de trabalho, como dos obstáculos e desafios quedecorrentes da pandemia COVID-19

In this exploratory and descriptive study, we aimed to analyze the experiences of student-internson the training processes experienced in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was alsointended to know the impact of the pandemic context on expectations about the insertion in thelabor market and professional future of these young adults. Using inductive thematic analysiscarried out with 21 semi-structured interviews the following themes emerged: (1) differencesbetween work before and during the COVID-19 pandemic; (2) challenges associated with the newway of working; (3) forms of support received; (4) fears about the professional future; (4) theCOVID-19 pandemic as an opportunity for the insertion of young adults into the labor market. Theresults obtained are discussed in the context of the issues related with o the insertion of youngpeople in the labor market, as well as the obstacles and challenges that COVID-19 pandemicbrought to this theme
