The issue of the education of children with special educational needs is one of the most controversial inthe field of education. Although their right to education is taken for granted, there is no general agreement as to the methods and means that should be used by teachers. New technologies can offer studentswith special educational needs and disabilities full or increased access to learning, facilitating communication, strengthening motivation, support and compensation for the dysfunctions they may show insome areas. The contribution of new technologies to the personalization and differentiation of teaching,which are a prerequisite for the inclusion of students with special educational needs, is indisputable. Thepurpose of this article is to analyze the above topic and to highlight the ethical issues arising from theintegration of new technologies in the education of children with special educational needs. The topic isapproached with a review of the Greek and foreign literature with searches in scientific databases suchas PubMed, Google scholar, ResearchGate etc. but also printed literature. It was defined that developments in new technologies are not self-evidently good or bad or semantically neutral, even the way inwhich they were used, especially in the area of Special Education or Education, is very important. Therole of the teacher is therefore extremely important, who must be composed of a framework of ethicalprinciples, in order to be able to make appropriate decisions for the benefit of his students.
