    África se encuentra en un momento crucial de su historia y se enfrenta a una serie de desafíos y tendencias complejas que configuran su panorama geopolítico, económico y social y de gobernanza en un mundo convulso y en constante cambio como epicentro geopolítico, atrayendo la atención de las principales potencias mundiales. El continente africano enfrenta en 2025 una serie de desafíos estructurales y coyunturales que requieren atención prioritaria, desde la seguridad y la gobernanza hasta el desarrollo económico y el cambio climático. En este escenario dinámico y cambiante, España tiene la oportunidad y la responsabilidad de definir una política propia hacia A ́frica basada en el respeto mutuo, la cooperación y el beneficio compartido. Hay que dejar de ver a África como un objeto de intervención y empezar a tratar a sus representantes como socios diversos e igualitarios en la construcción de un orden mundial más justo y sostenible.

    Africa is at a turning point in its history and faces a series of complex challenges and trends that shape its geopolitical, economic, social and governance landscape. In a convulsive and constantly changing world, it is attracting the attention of the world’s major powers and becoming a geopolitical epicenter. In 2025, the African continent faces a series of structural and circumstantial challenges that require priority attention, from security and governance to economic development and climate change. In this dynamic and changing scenario, Spain has the opportunity and the responsibility to define its own policy towards Africa, based on mutual respect, cooperation and shared benefit. We must stop seeing Africa as an object of intervention and start treating its representatives as diverse and equal partners in the construction of a fairer and more sustainable world order.
