    The work examines the different configurations of the word in the literary and audiovisual production of the Brazilian Valêncio Xavier. For this purpose, the general lines of its system of creation are initially established. Then, elements from the video Pinturas Rupestres do Paraná (1992) and from the literary narrative O Minotauro (1985) are analyzed, respectively in the light of Lotman's concept of audiovisual pedagogy and contributions of dialogism. It is believed that both formally demonstrate facets of the same aesthetic Project.

    O trabalho examina as diferentes configurações da palavra na produção literária e audiovisual do brasileiro Valêncio Xavier. Para tanto, inicialmente são estabelecidas linhas gerais de seu sistema de criação. Em seguida, são analisados elementos do vídeo Pinturas Rupestres do Paraná (1992) e da narrativa literária O Minotauro (1985), respectivamente à luz do conceito lotmaniano de pedagogia audiovisual e de contribuições do dialogismo. Acredita-se que ambas as obras demonstrem formalmente facetas de um mesmo projeto estético.
