    En los planes de estudio vigentes para la carrera Licenciatura en Educación Primaria se ha concedido muy pocoespacio para el desarrollo en los estudiantes del interés hacia la creación literaria del lugar donde vive, lo cual obstaculiza elrescate y promoción de los valores territoriales. En el trabajo se propone y fundamenta un programa de Literatura InfantilLocal para la formación inicial de los estudiantes de la carrera Licenciatura en Educación Primaria, como resultado de la tesisde maestría de la autora principal.

    In the current syllabus for the Primary Education teachers, very little space has been granted for the developmentof students' interest in the literary creation of the place where they live, which hinders the rescue and promotion of territorialvalues. In this paper, a program that uses local literature in the teaching of primary education children is proposed. Theproposal is based on the initial training of students of the Primary Education, and is a result of the M.Sc. thesis of the mainauthor
