    Vivir con VIH moldea tanto las experiencias subjetivas personales como los espacios de convivencia social y familiar. El objetivo del presente texto es analizar la experiencia de un grupo de personas que viven con VIH y que reconoce ser consistentes en adherencia al tratamiento antirretroviral y con ello, conocer el contexto familiar y comprender el proceso de incorporación del VIH en la vida cotidiana.  Se realizó un estudio de corte cualitativo con nueve informantes que viven en la CDMX y el estado de México. Se recuperaron y analizaron las experiencias en torno al diagnóstico desde una perspectiva interpretativa del discurso. Los resultados sugieren que el contexto familiar tiene una influencia constante en la toma de decisiones de los participantes, además de que es, en el núcleo familiar, donde comienzan a desarrollarse aspectos tales como el rechazo y la estigmatización principalmente por las orientaciones y preferencias sexuales, antes que por un diagnóstico positivo al VIH.

    Living with HIV shapes both personal subjective experiences and spaces for social and family coexistence. The objective of this work is to analyze the experience within a group of people living with HIV which members recognize that they are consistent in adherence to antiretroviral treatment and thus, to know the family context and understand the process of incorporating HIV into daily life. A qualitative study was carried out with nine informants who live in CDMX and its suburbs. The experiences around the diagnosis were retrieved and analyzed from an interpretive perspective of the discourse. The results suggest that the family context has a constant influence on the decision-making of the participants, in addition to the fact that it is in the family nucleus where features such as rejection and stigmatization begin to develop, mainly due to sexual orientations and preferences rather than a positive HIV diagnosis.
