Resumen de Análisis bibliométrico de la investigación educativa en el Tercer Sector

El Tercer Sector de Acción Social (TSAS) desempeña un papel crucial en la atención a grupos en situaciones de vulnerabilidad, entre ellos, el colectivo de personas con discapacidad.El objetivo de la comunicación es analizar la producción científica nacional sobre el TSAS a nivel general y, específicamente, en el ámbito educativo-pedagógico; para conocer si existe investigación sobre la educación quese lleva a cabo en el Tercer Sector.Para ello, se realizó una revisión documental sobre las tesis doctorales (TD) estatales y los artículos científicos procedentes de SCOPUS, WOS y DIALNET.Los resultados muestran que el número de TD y de artículos es exiguo y que el área educativo-pedagógica tiene una presencia residual en el cómputo global de publicaciones. Todo ello a pesar de que las actuaciones formativasestán presentes en un porcentaje notorio de entidades. A la luz de los datos y ante la evidencia del “gap” identificado, concluimos que la conformación de un TSAS con sellos de calidad en el ámbito educativo urge la creación de una red Tercer Sector – Universidad con énfasis en la investigación.

The Third Sector for Social Action (TSSA) plays a crucial role in the care of groups in situations of vulnerability, among them, the group of people with disabilities.The aim of this paper is to analyse the national scientific production on the TSSA in general and, specifically, in the educational-pedagogical field, in order to find out whether there is research on education carried out in the thirdsector.To this end, a documentary review was carried out on national doctoral theses (TD) and scientific articles from SCOPUS, WOS and DIALNET.The results show that the number of doctoral theses and articles is meagre and that the educational-pedagogical area has a residual presence in the overall number of publications. This is despite the fact that training activitiesare present in a significant percentage of entities.In the light of the data and given the evidence of the “gap” identified, we conclude that the creation of a TSSA with seals of quality in the educational field requires the creation of a Third Sector-University network with an emphasis on research.
