    En este trabajo se analiza la desigualdad en los municipios de Sonora, tomando como indicador el nivel de ingresos del hogar de la Encuesta Nacional de Ingresos y Gastos de los Hogares (ENIGH-INEGI), con el propósito de contribuir a su estudio en una de las regiones de México e impulsar soluciones locales.El hogar funge como unidad de análisis, centrándose en el nivel de ingresos del jefe de familia. Se realizan comparaciones del promedio de los ingresos de los municipios del estado de Sonora, con este dato se calcula la desigualdad de ingresos utilizando como medida el coeficiente de Gini (G). El estudio comprende el período 2000-2016; se toma como herramienta para la explotación de microdatos, el software estadístico STATA

    In this paper, inequality in the municipalities of Sonora is analyzed, taking as an indicator the level of household income of the National Household Income and Expenditure Survey (ENIGH-INEGI), with the purpose of contributing to its study in one of the regions of Mexico and promoting local solutions. The home serves as a unit of analysis, focusing on the income level of the head of the family. Comparisons are made of the average income of the municipalities of the state of Sonora, with this data the income inequality is calculated using the Gini coefficient (G) as a measure.The study covers the period 2000-2016; it is taken asa tool for the exploitation of microdata, the statisticalsoftware STATA.
