    Objetivo. Sintetizar los elementos históricos fundamentales para comprender el Estado moderno y la posibilidad de conquistar, a través de la organización social, una estructura estatal similar a la observada durante las décadas de 1940 y 1960 en los países centrales y periféricos de Occidente. Metodología. El principal recurso fue la sistematización y análisis de fuentes secundarias de la economía política, la historia y la teoría social marxista vinculadas a la temática. Resultados. Se identificó la necesidad de comprender los procesos históricos relativos a la acumulación de capital y su impacto en el Estado moderno. Conclusiones El conocimiento de las mediaciones que configuran la reproducción del capital es crucial para entender la complejidad del Estado moderno y las posibilidades que esta estructura política contiene en términos de la superación de la crisis estructural.

    Objective. To synthesize the fundamental historical elements to understand the modern state and the possibility of conquering, through social organization, a state structure similar to that observed during the 1940s and 1960s in the central and peripheral countries of the West. Methodology. The main resource was the systematization and analysis of secondary sources of political economy, history and Marxist social theory related to the subject. Results. The need to understand the historical processes related to capital accumulation and their impact on the modern state was identified. Conclusions Knowledge of the mediations that shape the reproduction of capital is crucial to understand the complexity of the modern State and the possibilities that this political structure contains in terms of overcoming the structural crisis.
