    El siguiente mapa conceptual explica el tema de la atención primaria en salud, primeramente se explican los antecedentes de la reunión en Alma Ata en 1978, así como los ejes que la componen. Posteriormente se expone el concepto y se enfatiza la partipación del sistema de salud, así como del personal que lo compone. La programabilidad, investigación, comunitaria, docente, accesible, integralidad, continua, participativa, activa y la participación de los recursos humanos, forman parte de sus características.

    Las funciones de la atención primaria son la prevención, promoción y tratamiento de la enfermedad y los objetivos son el apoyo emocional, disminuir morbilidad y planes de intervención. Finalmente, respecto a su clasificación, las actividades  se dividen en preventivas y curativas.

    The following conceptual map explains the topic of primary health care, first explaining the background of the meeting in Alma Ata in 1978, as well as the axes that comprise it. Subsequently, the concept is explained and the participation of the health system, as well as the personnel that comprise it, is emphasized. Programmability, research, community, teaching, accessible, comprehensive, continuous, participatory, active and the participation of human resources are part of its characteristics.

    The functions of primary care are the prevention, promotion and treatment of the disease and the objectives are emotional support, reducing morbidity and intervention plans. Finally, regarding their classification, activities are divided into preventive and curative.
