    La condición de seropositividad implica un nuevo comienzo para las personas debido a que se presenta una escisión de su persona y requieren una reconstrucción de su vida. A nivel social, la deconstrucción vital puede estar caracterizada por la ausencia de poder y presencia de estigma social, lo que puede impactar en la afectividad y la participación comunitaria de las personas que viven con VIH (PVV). Este trabajo de sistematización tiene como objetivo reconstruir el proceso de una intervención llevada a cabo desde la Investigación Acción Participativa (IAP), para lo cual se retomó la Teoría de las Representaciones Sociales, con el fin de aproximarse a los componentes socioafectivos de un grupo de PVV y su relación con el estigma y la participación comunitaria. Se encontró que la afectividad representa un aspecto importante, siendo el diagnóstico un aspecto central en la modificación de sus significados y prácticas vitales, con tendencia hacia el aislamiento y baja participación social. Mediante la intervención, las personas participantes se fueron asumiendo como agentes de cambio, derivando un rompimiento con el estigma del VIH/SIDA, tanto intragrupal como con la comunidad. Se puede concluir que, construir procesos participativos desde la afectividad puede conducir al re-conocimiento y la potenciación de sus fortalezas.

    The condition of seropositivity implies a new beginning for people because a splitting of their person is presented and they require a reconstruction of their life. At the social level, life deconstruction can be characterized by the absence of power and the presence of social stigma, which can impact the affectivity and community participation of people living with HIV (PLHIV). This systematization work aims to reconstruct the process of an intervention carried out from the Participatory Action Research (PAR), for which the Theory of Social Representations was taken up, to approach the socio-affective components of a group of PLHIV and their relationship with stigma and community participation. It was found that affectivity represents an important aspect, being the diagnosis a central aspect in the modification of their meanings and life practices, with a tendency towards isolation and low social participation. Through the intervention, the participants assumed themselves as agents of change, resulting in a break with the stigma of HIV/AIDS, both within the group and with the community. It can be concluded that building participatory processes from affectivity can lead to the re-knowledge and empowerment of their strengths.
