    Para este artículo se dispuso utilizar herramientas teóricas, recursos gráficos y datos disponibles en distintas fuentes que develan la situación actual de la Educación Superior dentro del Sistema Educativo Nacional y el papel que desempeña el Gasto Público en la evolución de este. Para tal motivo, el presente artículo está conformado por tres apartados: El primero está destinado a exponer el sustento teórico del artículo, el segundo muestra el contexto que impera en el Gasto Público en la Educación Superior con la finalidad de enterar al lector de datos importantes para el análisis, y el tercero concluye el artículo con un análisis documental y comparativo de las cifras.

    For this article, it was decided to use theoretical tools, graphic resources and data available in different sourcesthat reveal the current situation of higher education within the national education system and the role that publicexpenditure plays in the Evolution of the same.
