Tratamiento de las lumbociatalgias postesfuerzo con microsistema de mano

    Se realizó un estudio prospectivo, de intervención, a los pacientes con diagnóstico de lumbociatalgia postesfuerzo, remitidos al cuerpo de guardia de Medicina Tradicional y Natural (MTN) del Hospital «Cmdte. Manuel Fajardo Rivero» de Santa Clara, Villa Clara, desde junio de 2010 hasta junio 2013, con el objetivo de demostrar la utilidad del microsistema descrito en la cartografía china de mano en el tratamiento de esta enfermedad, en pacientes con edad igual o superior a 18 años. La muestra quedó integrada por 45 pacientes a los que se aplicó tratamiento mediante esta técnica. Se evaluó la respuesta al procedimiento a través de la escala de Likert, así como el nivel de dolor antes del tratamiento y después de él. Levantar y sostener grandes pesos fueron los esfuerzos que con más frecuencia desencadenaron la lumbociatalgia. Este estudio demostró la utilidad del microsistema de manos en el tratamiento de este padecimiento.

    A prospective intervention study was performed in patients diagnosed with low- back pain and sciatica after doing physical effort, who were referred to the Emergency Unit of Traditional and Natural Medicine Service at «Comandante Manuel Fajardo Rivero» Hospital in Santa Clara, Villa Clara from June, 2010 to June, 2013, with the objective of demonstrating the utility of the hand microsystem described in Chinese cartography in the treatment of this disease, and specifically in patients with 18 years of age or older. The sample was integrated by 45 patients who receive treatment through this technique. The response to the procedure was evaluated by means of Likert scale, as well as, the level of pain before and after treatment. Low- back pain and sciatica were triggered with more frequency after lifting or bearing heavy things. This study demonstrated the utility of hand microsystem in the treatment of this suffering.
