    La influencia que el sistema de Agencias Administrativas Independientes viene ejerciendo sobre las reformas que cursan en algunos de los más prestigiosos sistemas jurídicos, es un llamado de atención para investigar y comprender mejor una de las instituciones más destacadas de la tradición jurídica estadounidense. A través de este análisis, ofrecemos al lector las herramientas fundamentales que le permitan entender la naturaleza de estos órganos administrativos, su origen, su reciente evolución, su discutida adecuación a los lineamientos constitucionales, y finalmente, un completo diagnóstico del estado actual de las relaciones entre las Agencias Independientes y el presidente de los Estados Unidos.

    The independent agencies have had a remarkable influence overadministrative reforms in the most prestigious juridical systems. Thisfact invites us to get a better understanding of one of the most noteworthy juridical institutions in the american legal framework.Notwithstanding, there are some difficulties related with both theirconstitutional validity according to the US Constitution, and thepresidential faculties for making and carring out the public policy.By analyzing this essay, readers may achieve the fundamental toolsthat will allow them to understand not only the beginning of theindependent agencies, but also their evolution and, finally, a completediagnosis on the current relations between independent agencies andthe United States president.
