Uso de tecnologias da informação e comunicação no fomento de atividades físicas de lazer na pandemia

      Introduction: Social isolation has restricted leisure experiences, requiring the use of infor-mation and communication technologies to promote physical leisure activities in the context of the home.Objective: In view of this, the study aims to identify the Federal Institutions of Higher Education that have promoted leisure physical activities during the pandemic; to analyze the types of physical activities promoted, the information and communication technologies used and their relationship with the dimensions of media education. Methodology: This is a retrospective longitudinal documentary study, with a qualitative and quantitative analysis of the reports produced. Results: That 51 institutions took part in the survey carried out by ANDIFES, totaling 4,005 ac-tions developed, benefiting 44.52 million people. However, only 29.41% (15) of the institutions carried out actions, corresponding to 0.69% (29) of the total number of actions carried out. The predominant types of materials were booklets/guides/manuals (39.98%) and videos (28.57%) available on websites (31.09%) and YouTube (21.40%). Among leisure-time physical activities, muscle strengthening (32.00%) and stretching (20.00%) predominated. Discussion: The alternatives promoted by information technology indicate the urgency of train-ing Physical Education professionals to deal with the use of these tools, in view of the publicity they face. Despite this alternative, it is important that interventions in the field of leisure go beyond the functionalist approach.Conclusions: It can be concluded that, information and communication technologies have been used as methodological tools that have provided opportunities for leisure-time physical activi-ties in outreach projects during the pandemic, albeit limited to the methodologicaland produc-tive dimensions of media education and the lighter ones.

      Introdução: Oisolamento social restringiu as vivências lazer, exigindo o uso de tecnologias da informação e comunicação no fomento de atividades físicas de lazerno contexto da moradia. Objetivos: Identificar as Instituições Federais de Ensino Superior que fomentaram atividades físicas de lazer durante a pandemia; analisar os tipos de atividades físicas promovidas, as tec-nologias da informação e comunicação utilizadas e suas relações com as dimensõesda educação midiática. Metodologia: Trata-se de estudo documental, longitudinal retrospectivo, com análise quali-quantitativa de relatórios produzidos. Em que pese uma alternativa, importante se faz que intervenções no ámbito do lazer superem a vertente funcionalista.Conclusões:Conclui-se que as tecnologias da informação e comunicação figuraram como ferra-mentas metodológicas que oportunizaram as atividades físicas de lazer em projetos de ex-tensão durante a pandemia, embora limitadas as dimensões metodológica e produtiva da edu-cação midiática e aquelas mais leves.
