    This article provides a conceptual, theoretical and methodological review of archaeological research on the subject of pre-Christian Norse religion (A.D. 8th-11th centuries). At the same time, we try to insert this review within the theoretical debates of Archaeology of Religions in general.

    O presente artigo realiza uma revisão conceitual, teórica e metodológica das investigações arqueológicas sobre o tema da religiosidade nórdica pré-cristã (séculos VIII a XI d. C.). Ao mesmo tempo, procuramos inserir esta revisão dentro dos debates teóricos da Arqueologia das Religiões em geral.
