    El objetivo de este artículo es analizar las ceremonias públicas llevadas a cabo durante el reinado de Fernando VII, centrándose en la proclamación regia de 1808 y las juras constitucionales de 1812 y 1820 en la capital del reino de Mallorca. Aunque la historiografía reciente ha abordado ampliamente este tipo de celebraciones, son escasos los estudios dedicados al análisis integral de estas fiestas públicas durante el reinado de Fernando VII, con trabajos similares solo disponibles para algunas ciudades. Este texto se organiza en varios capítulos con el propósito de comprender la transición del modelo ceremonial del siglo XVIII al del primer tercio del siglo XIX, y examinar cómo y quién las organizó, así como identificar sus lugares principales. Además, se pretende analizar a los protagonistas y los principales acontecimientos relacionados.

    The purpose of this article is to analyze the public ceremonies practiced during the reign of Fernando VII, including the royal proclamation of 1808 and the constitutional oaths of 1812 and 1820 in the capital of the kingdom of Mallorca. Recent historiography has extensively addressed this type of celebrations, although there are few dedicated to the analysis of the entirety of these public festivities during Fernando VII’s reign. Only a few cities have similar works. This text is divided into different chapters to understand the transition from the ceremonial model of the eighteenth century to that of the first third of the nineteenth century and to learn how and by whom they were organized, as well as their main locations. Other objectives include analysing the key figures involved and the main events.
