    Mobility among the peoples of South America has intensified in recent decades, especially since 2015, driven by the humanitarian crisis in Venezuela. Thus, this article will address this movement of Venezuelans across the continent, focusing on those who are headed to Brazil. To this end, the time frame used will be between 2010 and 2019, given the intensification of displacement during this period. This paper is dedicated to understanding this mobility, as well as to bringing concepts that cover the complexity of a migratory process, such as place, social networks and social relations, so as to guide the issues surrounding the settlement and permanence in Brazil. At the end, the profile of the Venezuelan migrant and refugee will be presented, based on the reports of the National Migratory Registration System (SISMIGRA) and the International Traffic System - Alerts and Restrictions Module (STI-MAR), in order to think about which contexts surround the perception of Brazilians about the people who enter the country. Maps were also elaborated to elucidate the migration and refuge placement of Venezuelans in Brazil in comparison with the reception of these people in other Latin American countries

    A mobilidade entre os povos da América do Sul tem se intensificado nas últimas décadas, sobretudo a partir do ano de 2015, impulsionado pela crise humanitária na Venezuela. Dessa forma, este artigo tratará desse movimento de venezuelanos pelo continente, com foco nos que se direcionam ao Brasil. Para isso, o recorte temporal será entre os anos de 2010 e 2019, dadas as intensificações dos deslocamentos neste período. Este trabalho se dedica a entender essa mobilidade, bem como trazer conceitos que abranjam a complexidade de um processo migratório, como o lugar, as redes sociais e as relações sociais, de modo que orientem as questões em torno da fixação e permanência no Brasil. Ao final será apresentado o perfil do migrante e refugiado venezuelano, com base nos relatórios do Sistema de Registro Nacional Migratório (SISMIGRA) e o Sistema de Tráfego Internacional - Módulo de Alertas e Restrições (STI-MAR), a fim de pensar quais contextos circundam a percepção dos brasileiros sobre os povos que entram no país. Também foram elaborados mapas elucidativos da migração e refúgio de venezuelanos no Brasil em comparação com a acolhida desses nos demais países latino-americanos.
