    Written between May and October 1975, Poema sujo, by the poet from Maranhão Ferreira Gullar, is a long poem dedicated to the writer’s memories of the city of São Luís, in which references to his affective geography of the city can be found: place, geographicity and time. We know from the phenomenological approach that subjects are places, they carry places within themselves and in the case of a poet like Ferreira Gullar, the city emerges as a sensitive place. Literature, here, has a prominent place as an object of dialogue to understand how the visceral bonds between man and the Earth begin, are concretized and are represented. In addition to the theoretical contribution of phenomenology, this work uses the methodology of interpreting Ferreira Gullar’s work in light of the concepts of Cultural Geography, such as geographicity, geopoetics and lived experience, linking the work, F. Gullar’s biographical data to the city of São Luís. Investigating the pages as the fabric of the city in consciousness and approaching the work as if it were a field, searching, on the one hand, for the marks of São Luís in the poem and, on the other, for the marks of the poet in São Luís

    Escrito entre maio e outubro de 1975, Poema sujo, do poeta maranhense Ferreira Gullar é um longo poema dedicado às memórias do escritor para com a cidade de São Luís, no qual podem ser encontradas referências à sua geografia afetiva da cidade:

    lugar, geograficidade e tempo. Sabemos a partir da abordagem fenomenológica que sujeitos são lugares, carregam os lugares dentro de sim e no caso de um poeta como Ferreira Gullar a cidade surge como lugar sensível. A literatura, aqui, tem lugar de destaque como um objeto de diálogo para compreendermos como se iniciam, se concretizam e são representados os vínculos viscerais do homem com a Terra. Além do aporte teórico da fenomenologia, este trabalho tem como metodologia interpretar a obra de Ferreira Gullar à luz dos conceitos da Geografia Cultural, tais como a geograficidade, a geopoética e o vivido, ligando a obra, os dados biográficos de F. Gullar à cidade de São Luís. Investigando as páginas como a tessitura da cidade na consciência e indo à obra como se fosse um campo, buscando, de um lado, as marcas de São Luís no poema e de outro as marcas do poeta em São Luís
