Loja, Ecuador
In the present work, research was carried out on the effectiveness of gamification techniques for assessing speaking skills in the English language in a particular school in the city of Loja, Ecuador. First, an introduction is made about the purpose of the work and a detailed explanation about gamification and its advantages, then both the materials and the methodology used are explained, then the results obtained and their treatment using statistical techniques are analyzed. Once the results were obtained, the respective discussion about their content was carried out so that, based on this, conclusions could be drawn in accordance with said analyses. At the end of the discussion, the respective conclusions are drawn in which the gamification method has indeed been effective.
