    • Allergen immunotherapy (AIT) has shown efficacy in the short and the long term in the management of allergic respiratory diseases, and it’s administered subcutaneously (subcu-taneous immunotherapy, or SCIT) or sublingually (sublingual immunotherapy, or SLIT), being both effective and safe options.
