    La iglesia parroquial de Santa María la Real de Entrimo, situada en el rural de la provincia de Ourense, constituye un hito en el arte y en la arquitectura religiosa del siglo XVIII en Galicia, por la grandeza tanto de su fábrica como de sus fachadas-retablo barrocas. El patrocinio de sus abades y la prosperidad de la feligresía dio como fruto esta magnífica obra. Gracias a los datos extraídos de los pocos volúmenes de su archivo que han llegado hasta nosotros, junto con las reflexiones de un estudio previo sobre el templo, se aportarán las cronologías de las distintas partes de la iglesia, cuya conclusión se fue demorando hasta finales del siglo XVIII, y se estudiarán las influencias y los planteamientos de los maestros que intervinieron directa o indirectamente en su construcción.

    The parish church of Santa María la Real de Entrimo, located in the countryside of the province of Ourense, is a landmark in the art and religious architecture of the 18th century in Galicia, due to the grandeur of its construction and its baroque facades-altarpieces. The patronage of its abbots and the prosperity of the parishioners resulted in this magnificent work. Thanks to the data extracted from the few volumes of its archive that have lasted through to our time and the reflections of a previous study of the temple, the chronologies of the different parts of the church, which was not completed until the end of the 18th century, will be provided. Finally, the influences and approaches of the masters who intervened directly or indirectly in its construction will be studied.
