The editorial management of the Revista Cubana de Tecnología de la Salud has undergone a significant transformation aimed at improving quality, visibility, and internationalization. A strategic plan was implemented, focusing on four key objectives: updating the journal's legal framework, increasing indexing levels, enhancing visibility, and strengthening international cooperation. Of the 12 tasks proposed, 75% were successfully completed, including the redefinition of editorial policies and the development of strategies for web visibility and social media communication. Efforts to internationalize the journal resulted in a notable increase in foreign publications, reaching 23.7% in 2023. Additionally, the journal has prioritized the training of human resources in editorial processes, integrating editorial management into undergraduate curricula and fostering professional development. These actions reflect a commitment to excellence, transparency, and accessibility, positioning the journal as a dynamic and rigorous scientific publication in the field of health technology. The experience gained highlights the importance of continuous improvement and adaptation to the evolving demands of scientific publishing.
