    The article aims to identify some relationships between art and ecology in Brazil, from the 19th century to the contemporary, through the analysis of works of art created by Johann Moritz Rugendas (1802-1858), José Maria Oscar Rodolpho Bernardelli y Thierry (1852-1931) and Daiara Tukano (1982). The debate about the relationship between humanity and nature is very important in times of environmental collapse and is related to the topic 13 of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

    O artigo tem como objetivo algumas relações entre arte e ecologia no Brasil, do século XIX ao contemporâneo, por meio da análise obras de arte realizadas por Johann Moritz Rugendas (1802-1858), José Maria Oscar Rodolpho Bernardelli y Thierry (1852-1931) e Daiara Tukano (1982). O debate sobre a relação entre a humanidade e natureza é muito importante em tempos de colapso ambiental e relaciona-se ao tópico13 dos Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável da Organização das Nações Unidas.
